Brief project description:
The board of the German Youth Hostel Association in Bavaria turned to Kohl & Partner with a concept request that would serve as the basis for a quality project in Bavaria's youth hostels.
The aim of the consultancy mandate was to present a concept for a comprehensive management system that included a quality and environmental system that could be understood and implemented for all Bavarian youth hostels. The outlined quality criteria were to be introduced and observed in all youth hostels over a maximum of 3 years.
Key elements of the project:
- Define the concept and put it into operation: including definition of specific goals, content, requirements, framework conditions
- Market overview of the possible systems and those already in use (quality, environment)
- Suggestions for goals, content and the strategic direction of the QM project as well as specific system requirements in Bavaria
- Design of the specific instruments/management systems and selection based on the target concept and system requirements
- Detailed design of the QM project with instruments/standards/procedures, timings, modules, partners and cost calculation
