About the destination:
Piatra Neamț is a city in eastern Romania with a population of around 110,000. It is the capital of Neamţ County, located in the historical region of Moldavia. The city is located around 350 kilometres north of the capital, Bucharest. The closest airport is Bacau, located around 60 kilometres to the south.
One of Piatra Neamț's main tourist attractions is a cable car that connects the city centre with Cozla Mountain. Built in 2007, it is almost two kilometres long. The valley station is located 323 metres above sea level, while the mountain station is located 632 metres above sea level. Near the mountain station there is a short but modern ski slope and another chairlift.

Kohl > Partner had been assigned to conduct a destination audit, especially focusing on the question if the city administration should further invest in vertical transportation facilities, attractions and slopes around Cozla mountain and what is necessary to support a sustainable development.
