Concept Evaluation and Profitability Forecast for Hotel Klosterhof in Bayerisch Gmain, Germany

Client:
Färber Hotelbetriebs GmbH

Brief project description:

After the Färber family took over the historic Gasthof Hotel Klosterhof in the Berchtesgaden district, it soon became clear that they intended to invest in the property. The small, 12-room hotel with three dining rooms and a beer garden was to be transformed into a professionally managed, medium-sized health and wellness hotel with its own doctor's surgery.

Having developed a concept and created a business plan, the family asked Kohl > Partner to conduct a plausibility analysis and produce a profitability forecast.

Key elements of the project:

  • arrowboldThe primary objective of a plausibility analysis is to provide assurance to the owners regarding their planned investment
  • arrowboldThe analysis should highlight any weaknesses in the documents provided, as well as any potential risks that may result
  • arrowboldA 'second opinion' is provided by reviewing the facts of the situation and the existing concepts and plans before construction begins - this is of considerable value in the decision-making process
